The space between humanity and Spirit…

…are the foundations of my making space. I believe, as humans, we are all on a quest to understand the lives we live…the experiences we have…and how to exist in an ever-changing world. My work aims to address the questions that arise as a result of our human experiences with Spiritual truths.

My desire is that my work will invite the witness into that middle space…to allow them to see the parts of themselves that they’re still unveiling…and that maybe the work they witness can build a bridge between the Maker and the viewer.

“A.Cross”

…examines the process of transitioning or “crossing over” from one chapter of life to the next…sometimes these are choices, and sometimes they are sudden, and often, disorienting turns life places in our path—moments that disrupt momentum and force us to reorient without warning. This work will explore the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual costs that are natural to the human experience during transitional periods of life, culminating in the hope that a joyful life experience awaits on the other side of the crossing.

This work was commissioned by Northern Kentucky University and premiered in April 2026.

“Promised Land”

…“It will ask you to be honest about your biases; it will challenge you to work through hard truths about the state of our society...by the end, the work will inspire you to commit (or re-commit) to being the change you want to see, holding a mirror to humanity and the systems tasked with upholding the promise in the words offered hundreds of years ago in the Declaration of Independence.”

This work was commissioned by the Kettering foundation, premiered in October 2025, and performed by Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.

“Somewhere, They Freed Themselves”

…is a work highlighting the never ending fight for women to have a voice….to be seen as truly equal…and the work and surrender it has taken to be able to have a “seat at the table”.
